- Examination: First, the patient's acne scars and skin type are analyzed using a skin analysis device.
- Fractional Laser: In the first session, fractional laser is used to create micro-damage on the skin’s surface. This helps to smooth out the scars.
- Fat and Stem Cell Injection: During the same session, fat is taken from the abdomen under local anesthesia. This fat is processed to enrich it with stem cells and then injected into the scarred areas. The fat can also be used to add volume to areas like the under-eyes and cheeks.

Duration of FILS Treatment

Fat Extraction and Stem Cells
Fat is rich in stem cells, particularly in the abdominal area. After extracting the fat, it is processed to increase the stem cell concentration. This helps the skin heal more effectively. Fat extraction is done with local anesthesia, so it is not painful.
Post-Treatment Care
- Sun Protection: Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks after treatment to protect the healing skin.
- Healing Process: The skin may form a crust that usually heals within 5-7 days.
- Discomfort: The procedure is generally painless due to pre-treatment with numbing cream. The entire process takes about 2 hours.
